We had the pleasure this past Monday (September 21) of participating in Cook it Raw Alberta. Cook it Raw is described as “A unique culinary event & mentorship program, helping local chefs, producers and farmers identify the materials and techniques that are unique to their region and crafting a strong culinary narrative that will resonate with global audiences.”
Our friends at Well Juicery took some great photos at our Simmons grand opening event, so we thought we would share them with you. Thanks Well!
Part scientist’s lab, part fine-sipping experience, we have finally opened the latest installment of our collective of Calgary cafés in the East Village’s Simmons Building. This new café is part of a partnership between three of Calgary’s most-hailed culinary establishments and together we are creating a gastronomic experience unlike any other in the country.
Our team members Aimee (Head Trainer) and Vanessa (Wholesale Manager) recently visited our friends at Rocket Bakery, located in St. John’s, Newfoundland. The Phil & Sebastian Sunday Brunch Club is a group of Calgary based fashion, food and lifestyle bloggers who we think are really cool – so cool that we named a brunch item after them. Follow the hashtag #psbrunchclub to see all the bloggers photos and hashtag your own to join the fun. Every Sunday
Join us for a truly one-of-a-kind evening, celebrating coffee’s nuanced journey from fruit to fruition, seed to cup. It’s a story 20,000 miles in the making, happening one night only right here in Calgary. For the first time ever in Canada, we’ll be hosting a live processing of coffee fruit.
Construction of the Simmons building is underway and we could not be more excited! We’ve partnered with two highly regarded Calgary businesses, both of which share our passion for quality of product and service.
It’s with great pleasure that we announce the much anticipated (at least by me) launch of our fresh crop Kenyans. Gachatha AB and Karinga AA are both powerhouses with big flavours, acidity and body, while still showing elegance and grace. I’m so pleased with the way they’re performing, and in truth, quite relieved.
