I was introduced to Nemesio’s coffee by Jose of Osito Coffee in Colombia. Jose and my good friend Kyle started Osito Coffee in 2018 – they are an exporter of Colombian coffee (based in Colombia) intent on breaking the bad habits and poor treatment of farmers most of the specialty exporters exhibit. The coffee jumped out at me on the cupping table immediately – it reminded me of everything that is amazing about the truly great Colombian coffees – super sweet, fruity, juicy acidity with a ripe tomato undertone.
